Santhanam
may be a gag bag of laughs to us but that’s what is also keeping him laughing
all the way to his bank. The top league comedian has turned hero with
Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham. Directed by Srinath, this comedy thriller is a
remake of S.S. Chandramouli’s Telugu flick Maryada Ramana. Mumbai based model
Ashna Zaveri plays the lead. The shooting started in mid-2013 at EVP World, the
amusement and theme park in Poonamallee on the Chennai to Bangalore
highway. A faction feud and an innocent hero who is lead into an
unpredictable chain of events form the plot. We wonder how Santhanam who
usually plays the friend of the hero will fare as hero.
