Shruti Hassan was recently in the eye of a storm for walking out on producer Prasad V Potluri’s film. She was the heroine of this film starring Nagarjuna and Karthi with direction by Vamsi Padipally.
Upset with the turn of events, Prasad filed a case against her and this had been widely reported in the media. However, it looks like this tiff has come to an end. There was an official statement from both the parties that the case has been solved out of the court and now Shruti Haasan is free from the case. “The case was withdrawn after Tamil Film Producers Council (TPFC) and South Indian Film Artists Association (SIAA) intervened and settled the issue amicably,”read a statement.
We hear that the actress had to pay dearly though. Sources say that she had to pay the advance along with a fine and that totalled 18 lakhs. She also has to perform an item number in the movie Size Zero. Currently she is busy promoting her Hindi film Gabbar Is Back opposite Akshay Kumar where she plays a Marathi Mulgi.
