When the lead pair of the serial Saravanan-Meenakshi fell in love in real life, their fans were delighted.  These roles were played by Senthil Kumar and Sreeja Chandran and they have a huge fan following. The serial ran for a long period of 6 years over 2 seasons.

The couple credit their marriage to their fans who always told them that they looked like a made-for-each-other couple. Their onscreen marriage was a grand and elaborate affair and created quite a stir among fans. However, for their real life marriage which took place on 7th July, 2013, they decided to keep things simple. Their wedding was a small private ceremony at Tirupathi. We wish the couple a happy married life!

Ram Charan to transform into Tollywood’s fitness icon!

Ram  Charan is soon slated to do an action film under Sreenu Vaitla's direction. To get into the skin of the character and handle the action sequences, he has to get toned and has started a strict diet and workout regime.

His fitness regime has been designed by none less that Samir Jaura, the famous Bollywood trainer who trained Hrithik Roshan for Bang Bang, Farhan Akhtar for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Priyanka Chopra for Mary Kom.

We hear that Samir has created a rigorous schedule for Charan that will span 4 to 5 months along with a crash diet. He is currently being trained extensively for four hours daily at two stretches. Looks like he’s determined to be T-town's fitness icon.

Hot new couple on the block Shruti-Vijay!

Here’s a new pairing that’s creating a flutter in Kollywood. Shruti Hassan has signed up to work in  a yet-untitled film in Tamil directed by Chimbudevan. This is the first time the hottie will be pairing with Vijay and fans are quite excited. "Am super happy to be vijay sirs leading lady in Chimbudevan's next! The film will be a big budget fantasy extravaganza. We also hear that Hansika Motwani will also be acting in the flick but the star has not confirmed her presence. Currently, Vijay is busy wrapping up his Kaththi and post that shooting is slated to start from the end of August.

Pawan Kalyan angry with the misuse of his name!

Pawan Kalyan has literally turned the angry, young man! It had come to light that some impostors have been misusing his name and collecting money. They have been using the pretext of collecting money for Andhra Pradesh for his Jana Sena Party. This has made him quite furious.

Pawan Kalyan has political aspirations and has been quite open about them. Speaking to the TOI, he said, "Once the Election Commission recognises Jana Sena Party as a political entity, I'll break my silence to the media and explain the party's future plan of action. Until then, I urge people not to misuse my party's name or my name on social networking sites." He also warned, “We have not authorised anyone to collect funds and if anyone is caught doing so, he'll have to face serious consequences."

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Lingaa secrets are out!

Fans of Superstar Rajinikanth have been eagerly awaiting his next flick. We hear that he will be playing a dual role in his upcoming Lingaa. Everyone is curious about his roles, one is that of a District Collector but the other has been kept strictly under wraps. It’s rumoured that he may even be playing a thief who tries to steal a very valuable diamond.

Lingaa is directed by K.S. Ravikumar and Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka are paired opposite him. The shooting is on at a huge set erected at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.   AR Rahman is the music director and Rathnavelu cranks the camera for this flick.
