Current Theega set for a grand October 17th release



Manchu Manoj recently had a recent spate of blockbusters Potugadu and Pandavalu Pandavulu Thummeda. This has increased his popularity and the expectations for his soon-to-be released flick Current Theega. Directed by Nageshwar Reddy, this thriller will have high octane action and be a fun flick too.
A recent teaser of the film sent temperatures soaring. Featuring Sunny Leone and Manchu Manoj in an item number, this definitely turned on the heat! Sunny wore a red hot ensemble and plays a school teacher.
Rakul Preet plays the lead opposite Manchu and was recently happy after the wrap and tweeted, "And wrapped up d shoot of my favorite song of #CurrentTheega. It's always nostalgic to finish a film n this week it's been two of them #Loukyam. “ Current Theega will have a grand release on October 17th with a large number of screens.

Vijay Antony: Rising star



Music director turned actor Vijay Antony has been having a dream run at the B.O. His first film as a hero was Naan where he played the tough role of a psychopath killer. He managed to pull it off and it was well-received by audiences. He also produced the film and did the music direction.

His next film Salim was also a hit. This was a thriller and he performed some daredevil stunts much to the delight of the audience. He underwent rigorous training in Taekwondo for this role. He is now geared up for his next, a comedy flick titled India Pakistan. This is in the final schedule of its shoot. Looks like this handsome music director-turned-actor is giving leading Kollywood heroes a run for their money.

Dubbed serials top Telugu channel TRPs



There has always been a big market for dubbed Hindi serials in Andhra Pradesh. Recently, the ratings revealed that Chinnari Pellikoothuru and Eetharam Illalu have been topping the charts for more than a year. Both are being aired on MAA TV.

Chinnari Pellikoothuru is the dubbed version of Balika Vadhu. The storyline focuses on child marriage and how it impacts the lives of two children Anandi and Jagdish who were married to each other during their childhood. Later on the two get divorced and remarry.  Last week, the serial received a whopping 12.22 TRP.
Eetharam Illalu is the dubbed version of Diya Aur Baati Hum and came second with a 8.08 TRP. 

The story focuses on the protagonist Sandhya's struggles to achieve her dream of becoming an IPS officer. Circumstances in her life lead to her to discontinue her graduation and get married. However, she does not give up her dream and finds an ardent supporter in her husband.

Star love secrets revealed!



Most stars have a tendency to go blue in the face and deny affairs when asked about them. Recently, however, we have seen some of them get a little braver. Nayantara who was heart-broken after her affair with Prabhu Deva has allegedly found love once again with Arya. The two were spotted together at a recent audio launch.

Rana Daggubati and Trisha have been dating each other for quite a while. However, whenever the press broached the subject, the two denied it. Recently, they posted a selfie of themselves aboard an aircraft and this seemed to be their way of confirming. Siddharth and Samantha are rumored to be having a love nest in Chennai and living together. However, the two are intensely private about this and so fans were surprised when they were spotted at an audio launch together.

We wish these couples happiness and hope they announce their wedding plans soon.

Varun Tej debuts with Mukunda



Actor Naga Babu’s son Varun Tej makes his debut with Mukunda. Interestingly, in his first ever film, he seems to have bagged an interesting role which has a scene showing him taking part in a municipal election campaign. Directed by Srikanth Addala, this is being currently shot at Amalapuram.
We hear that the film is a rural love story. Besides Varun Tej, the other key actors are Pooja Hegde, Prakashraj and Rao Ramesh. The Director Srikanth Addala revealed to Supergood Movies that, “Mukunda deals with values, customs and traditions in a family. It also shows the clarity, the young generation has about their future.”
The shooting is drawing to a close and the film is expected to hit the screens in October.

Rajini fans elated with Lingaa’s first look




As Rajini fans celebrated Vinayaka Chaturthi, they were in for another treat.  The first look of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Lingaa was released on the auspicious day too.  This has all the typical elements that every fan would look for.

It shows Rajinikanth striding in his characteristic style flaunting his attitude in a leather jacket, ripped jeans, white tee and a brown scarf. Dry leaves fly around his feet and he looks powerful and radiates great confidence.

Interestingly, a punch dialogue from his film has got leaked. We hear the dialogue is spoken when he appeals to villagers to help him build a dam and says, "I don't need a Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Chettiar, Nadar, Mudaliar. Those who call themselves Indians alone come with me." 

The film is currently being shot across Karnataka. Sonakshi Sinha has been cast opposite him and it’s being directed by K. S. Ravikumar. Lingaa will release on Dec 12th which is the Superstar’s birthday.
