Shruti and Ram Charan’s chemistry to sizzle again!

Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Shruti Hassan had paired together in Yevadu and their sizzling chemistry was the talk of the town. Directed by Vamsi Padipally, this was a thriller that had the audience at the edge of their seats and went on to become a blockbuster. The film also starred Amy Jackson.

The Shruti-Ram Charan magic is now all set to repeat itself again with a film directed by Sreenu Vaitla.  This will be an action entertainer, produced by DVV Danayya. A little bird tells us that Ram Charan will be seen sporting a whole new look and his fans just can’t wait to get a peek! As Sreenu Vaitla gets ready with his script, the rest of cast and crew are being finalized too.

At the moment, Ram Charan is tied up with the shooting of his upcoming film Govindudu Andarivadele. This is expected to release on October 1st, 2014. Shruti Hassan too is equally busy with her Tamil flick Poojai.

Jyothika to make her big comeback!

Jyothika fans were quite upset when the bubbly actress quit acting post her marriage to Suriya in 2007. She left behind quite a vacuum in Kollywood that was not truly filled up.  She is now ready to don the greasepaint again and make a comeback. We hear that she had been looking at various scripts but wanted her comeback vehicle to have a powerful role.

She has now officially signed the Tamil remake of the Malayalam blockbuster ‘How old are you?’ The woman oriented script had seen Manju Warrier play the role in Malayalam and she was much appreciated for her histrionics. Interestingly, Jyothika’s hubby Suriya has acquired the remake rights of this film for his banner 2D Entertainment. It is going to be directed by Rosshan Andrrews who directed the original Malayalam version.

The story has a powerful social message and tells the insightful story of how a woman faces a personal crisis in her life and how she manages to handle it. It gives us her take on finding her personal identity. The women-oriented films in recent days have been quite scarce and this will definitely make audiences sit up and take notice.

Hansika upset by fake manager

Hansika’s career has been flying high and she is working on three big films in Tamil, Romeo Juliet, Maegaman and Uyire Uyire. She also indulged herself in an adventurous vacation. The star has been travelling across Europe and having a blast. She enjoyed herself cycling, painting, watching bull-fights and travelling across Barcelona, Spain and Paris.

The pretty star however was quite miffed recently. We hear that a man has been posing as her manager and been listening to scripts and dicussing her salary. When this reached her ears, she was quite shocked and determined to put an end to the conman’s activities.

Hansika then issued a statement saying, “It had been brought to my attention by certain friends in the film industry that a particular person has been misusing my name. I believe he was calling himself my manager, and subsequently discussing my projects as well as finances. It is my mother, Dr. Mona, who helps and guides me in this. Those who deal with such ‘fakes’ do so at their own risk.”

Get ready for Chiranjeevi’s 150th film

Good news for Chiranjeevi fans! The star is all set to star in his 150th film.  The actor-politician has enthralled his fans with his diverse roles that straddled genres from romance to action. During the past few months, the media has been filled with rumours floating about who would direct this milestone film.

Recently, he was the guest on the TV show, Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu and he revealed,"I will start working on my 150th film this year. If audiences still want to see me on the silver screen, I would be more than happy to act. I'm currently listening to scripts.”

Now, we have more news for you. It has been confirmed that Director V.V. Vinayak is the lucky one who will do the honours for the star’s 150th film. The film we also here will officially launch on August 22, Chiranjeevi’s birthday. The subject has still been kept in suspense, so wait for more news soon.

NTR Junior to treat his audience with Rabhasa on Independence Day

The Telugu action-entertainer has been much awaited by NTR Junior fans who just can’t wait to enjoy their favourite hero’s onscreen antics once more. Directed by Santosh Srinivas, it features Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Pranitha Subhash in the lead roles.

The film has been extensively shot at Banjara Hills and Ramoji Rao Film Citywhile the action scenes were shot at Tellapur and Gandharva Mahal. What’s really interesting is that NTR Junior’s character will have four shades ranging from playboy to a responsible family member! Now, we have to admit, this makes us curious.

Producer BellamKonda Ramesh says, "One of the biggest highlights of the film will be the song crooned by NTR. That song is sure going to become a chartbuster," he added. It will be the fourth time audiences will get to hear Jr. NTR sing in his films after Yamadonga, Adhurs and Kantri. So watch out for it soon!

Suriya’s Anjaan has fans excited!

Suriya’s upcoming flick Anjaan has been successfully censored and is all set for a grand Independence Day release on August 15th. Dhanajayan Govind of UTV Motion Pictures tweeted this update, “Anjaan censored with U. All set to entertain you totally on 15th August folks! Despite not knowing the language, the board enjoyed the entertainment in Anjaan. Excited & happy. Get ready folks!”

Anjaan is directed by Lingusamy, its star-studded cast includes Samantha, Vidyut Jamwal, Manoj Bajpai, Dalip Tahil and Soori. The grapevine reports that Suriya is playing dual roles in the film and one will have a raw, jagged look. The music by Yuvan Shankar Raja has been released and is rocking the charts.

Post Anjaan, Suriya has Masss lined up. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, this too has an impressive star cast comprising Nayanthara, Amy Jackson and Parthiban. Shooting has already commenced.
