The kind of craze and adulation that the song stirred up across the globe is unforgettable. Despite, not being anywhere close to tall and handsome, Dhanush has made a mark as a hero thanks to his histrionics.

Velai Illa Pattadhari is Dhanush’s 25th movie and directed by Velraj. It stars Dhanush, Amala Paul, Satish, Samuthirakani and Saranya Ponvannan in the key roles. An interesting fact is that Dhanush has once again temed up with his good friend and the film’s music director Anirudh Ravichander and sung songs for the film. He has also penned all the lyrics.

The film has raised very high expectations ever since the trailer was released few days back.  It has been trending in India since its release and has gone viral. In just three days, the trailer has crossed a whopping half a million views on YouTube and is close to 6 lakh views already.

Vivek moves away from comedy?

Vivek usually plays the hero’s friend and brings in his own brand of comedy sometimes laced with a social message.  He ensures that he keeps the audience in splits with his jokes and wisecracks. However, his latest career move has come as quite a surprise. He plays the protagonist in En Peyar Bala and this is a very serious role.

Vivek plays the role of a Hindu priest. He told a leading website, “It is true that when comedians try to become heroes, they try to do more of the same — they want to do a full-fledged comedy. But today, even the leading men want to do more comedy. I didn’t want to go down that path.” We hear that it was Director Bala who encouraged him to take up this role. We are sure he will do full justice to it and make us sit up and take notice.

Telugu TV’s Grandest Show Hosted by Nagarjuna!

Telugu star Nagarjuna is going to host the much awaited reality show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu. This show is the Telugu version of Bollywood’s super hit show Kaun Banega Crorepati hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. The shoot for this mega show has already started and a few episodes have been canned.
